Dave in Dallas….WELL SAID ! Conservative values win elections. How many times do we need to see the results ……..when Ronald Regan conservative ran..or a Newt Gingritch leads……or we try to be all things to all people like McCain.Conservatives STAND UP !

When did Republicans start worrying about our candidates being too conservative. I seem to keep reading articles and hearing pundits talk about “conservative” Republicans like it’s a bad thing. They are saying things like “too christian” as if there is such. They are throwing around words such as pro-life and opposed to gay marriage as if Republicans don’t want that in our party. If the Republican party will run more traditional conservative candidates, they may actually energize the party and win more elections. It seems as though everytime Republicans abandon those conservative values, they lose an election.

These Republicans who are so afraid of CHristians and social conservatives ‘getting too much power’ in the party?

Well, they sure did a great job running from the middle over the past couple of years, didn’t they? Their Democrat Lite spending policies and arm’s length treatment of their own base has really given the party a boost, hasn’t it?

Pardon my french, but this is idiotic. If they want to WIN, they’re going to have to bring back THEIR BASE, which is me, conservative fiscally, socially, on defense, wanting LIMITED GOVERNMENT, wanting LOWER TAXES (not because I want more money but because lower taxes is appropriately decent behavior toward the hard working taxpayer), wanting RESPECT for American traditional roots, wanting ENGLISH as our official language, wanting BORDER CONTROL accomplished BEFORE we deal with our resident aliens so we don’t encourage fifty million MORE to cross over…

THIS ISN”T ROCKET SCIENCE. McCain tried to phony up his conservatism toward the end there, but nobody believed him, nobody was inspired.

There is NOTHING I won’t do to help a real conservative win an election. Let’s just try running one, shall we?

Mr. Blackwell, I’m all yours. Please run for POTUS in 2012. You are my kind of American man.
