Former President Donald Trump ripped into Democrats on Tuesday for taking our nation’s greatest cities and transforming them into a “paradise for criminals,” going on to cite the assault on ex-Sen. Barbara Boxer from California.
The statements from Trump on this issue were part of an emailed statement that was sent out from his Save America PAC.
“Former California Senator Barbara Boxer was savagely assaulted and robbed yesterday in Oakland, where they defunded the police. Our once great cities, like New York, Detroit, San Francisco, and so many others, have become a paradise for criminals because of Democrats. We must give power back to police or America will never be safe. We cannot let Communist Democrats destroy our great cities. If we don’t stop them, our communities and our Country will be lost forever,” Trump went on to write.
Details concerning the assault of Boxer, 80, were put up on her Twitter account on Monday.
“Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland,” the tweet read. The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured.”
This particular incident happened right in broad daylight around 1:15 p.m. in the 300 block of 3rd St. She was “shaken up but not seriously hurt.”
Jack London Square is on Oakland’s south waterfront, next to Alameda, an entertainment district about six miles from the Oakland Athletics’ baseball stadium.
Boxer held the Senate seat for four terms, from 1993 to 2017, when she was succeeded by now Vice President Kamala Harris.
If you need proof that socialism and far left economic policies are disastrous for civilization, look no further than the state of California. Oh and New York City. And Minneapolis. And Baltimore.
I think you get the point.
