According to Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, a Republican, the not guilty verdict in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse on all counts he was charged with a is a huge “win for our country,” and the Democrats who are running their mouths speaking out about the whole thing are being “ridiculous.”
“This was justice,” Jordan stated on Saturday during an interview with “Wake Up America.” “This shows that the American system of due process works. This was a God bless America type of day for the country.”
Rittenhouse, 18, was found not guilty Friday on charges of intentional homicide and four other felony charges in connection with the shooting deaths of two men and the wounding of a third during the August 2020 protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. His case hinged on self-defense and has led to a national debate.
“If that wasn’t self-defense, tell me what is,” Jordan went on to say. “I think this is a win for due process. I think it’s a win for our country. It’s a win for those in this system where those jurors, knowing what was going on outside, knowing what Democrats were saying, reached the conclusion that the facts and the truth were warranted.”
He also stated the verdict was a “win for the Second Amendment and for our Constitution, so all in all, “it was a good day for freedom, a good day for the process, and a good day for America.”
Jordan is absolutely right on both accounts.
Rittenhouse was simply trying to protect his life from radical left-wingers who had intentions of hurting or even murdering the young man because he was there to help control fires and provide medical assistance to anyone who needed it.
That tells you how sick the left really is, doesn’t it? They are bending over backwards to paint this kid up as a racist, when the people he shot and killed were white and totally out of their minds.
The Second Amendment exists to protect us from tyranny and that’s exactly what happened in Kenosha. Oppressors in the form of radicalized terrorists who claim they were protesters but were hellbent on using force and violence as means to produce social and political change (which is terrorism) tried to deny Kyle Rittenhouse’s right to life.
The Second Amendment provided Rittenhouse with an opportunity to protect his God-given right to live. End of story.
