Video content platform YouTube announced on Tuesday that it had removed new content posted by President Donald Trump’s official channel and revealed that they will continue to prevent any videos from being uploaded for, at minimum, a week.
YouTube, which is owned by Big Tech company Google, stated that the decision to ban the president came “after review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence” that exists in the wake of some Trump supporters rioting at the Capitol building.
1/ After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies. It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a *minimum* of 7 days.

2/ Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section. https://t.co/1aBENHGU5z

“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section,” YouTube added.
Authorities in Washington, D.C. have reported “credible threats” of further violence related to President-elect Joe Biden‘s inauguration next week.
YouTube’s decision follows other tech companies like Twitter and Facebook which have permanently or temporarily disabled Trump’s accounts after Wednesday’s riots.
YouTube offered no explanation of what was contained within the offending content, only saying it was the channel’s “first strike.”
This is super scary. The radical left is abusing their political power to violate the First Amendment rights of the President of the United States. If they will silence him, they most assuredly will silence us. Or at least try to.
We’re living in really frightening times, ladies and gentlemen. If you aren’t already a praying person, now is a good time to start.
